so, i have a kanger t2. its a top coil. the head that came with it, i have dry burned around 4 times and then the head took a crap. so i got replacements. i took apart the first head and it looks like what i "dry burned" off, was remelted onto the wicks rather the coil.

im about to clean this head and im asking weather on not to keep the wicks in when i dry burn.

is there going to be a problem? popped coil or something? and about the wick that had gunk built up, does that build up cause any wicking/flavor issues?

First Clean - Running Hot water or Soak in Vodka/Grain alcohol - Then rinse
Next Dry burn in controlled burst. Keep an eye on the coil and do not let it get white hot - orange only!

After dry burning, Rinse again to remove charred gunk and Dry wicks by pinching with Paper towel.
You will only get 4-10(Max) dry burns before time to toss and replace. Recoiling T2 heads isn't simple.

Never remove the wicks. You will not get them back in without messing up the coil.
Dry burning cleans the Coil AND the contact area of the wick.
