Where can i get joye ego tank atomizer wick replacement?

I stupidly ordered the fiberglass instead of the silica. Just did another order which will hopefully ship right out. I was hoping to sit down this weekend and make up a batch of fresh wicks. Atties are all cleaned, dried and glowing a nice bright orange.

Someone mentioned wrapping the wick with wire salvaged from a bad atty. I do not have a bad atty and would hate like hell to take a good one apart.

I do have a bad CE2. That will work right? Take it apart, remove the wire and wrap that around the silica to make a wick?

bman, thread works fine, I have no problems with air passing through, tie it just big enough to lightly wedge into the spike plate so it doesn't fall out. You could also try stainless steel mesh 400, can buy at grainger.com. (1 sq. ft. for $20 bucks) I've also heard people using lipton pyramid tea bags. apparently the material is non flamable, but it has to be the pyramid type, there are videos on you tube. I haven't been able to find any of those teabags though.
