Where can one purchase those little write gromets that hold the center pin for Kanger coils?

I understand the desire to rebuild rather than replace, but, honestly at $1.25/coil at Fast Tech, I think I will just be replacing these when the normal cleaning process doesn't do the trick anymore. I want to save my energy for bigger and better rebuilds. I am still trying to get the hang of rebuilding the coil/wick for my Totally Wicked RB1. Has not worked since I got it in the mail!

For me rebuilding these coils is less about saving money and more about the added performance I get from the coils that I build with care. I am also a big fan of cotton as my wick material, since no one sells heads with cotton I am kind of stuck rebuilding these heads.

Its crazy but I can build some great evod coils but I can't get my rda to work well at all. Well I did get it working with a 0.6 ohm coil but it worked a little to well and I couldn't handle the hits.... Kanger BCC heads are just so easy to rebuild.

I also came across this little trick to getting the grommet back in, just tried and it does make it easier. It took a little fumbling at first but with a little practice it will be a snap.

Everyone whose tried it knows this is the toughest part. Here is the trick I stumbled on that I haven't seen yet:

After you get the coil legs through the base, take the rubber grommet and the metal peg and assemble them as if they were installed, except outside the head. Slide one of the coil legs through the inlet hole on the metal peg. It is now MUCH MUCH easier to push the grommet and metal peg assembly into the base hole. I use a pair of needle nose pliers to grip the end of the metal peg and this step is now trivial. After this is done, pull out the metal peg and complete the rebuild like normal.

I hope this helps. I was tired of fiddling around with tweezers and I'm glad I came across this technique. If the procedure is not clear, I can post pics or an illustration.

here is the original thread with a few more methods http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...ld-trick-much-easier-grommet-insertion-2.html

HAH, I had the same issue with my AGA T2. Had it for a month before I got it to not burn out the top leg. Finally got some washers and eliminated the issue all together. Now I'm using Kanthal D .5mm X .1mm with 7/6 wraps for 2.4 ohms. Taste is so clean!
