AMPS , the problem will always be the size of the switch, larger current capacity (I.E. AMPS) = larger switch

2 . round square ??
3. what voltage 12v is a normal voltage.
lockouts are normally found on industrial switches , they are LARGE most of the time , making a mechanical lockout is probably the easiest/fastest way to do it .
