Hello friends,

I was wondering where everyone was first introduced or heard about e-cigarettes from?

Funny thing with me is the first place I heard about e-cigs was like from one of those little you-know-its-a-scam advertisements on a website I was reading. Sure glad I saw that ad and then actually started to research PV's and found this forum.

So how was everyone else introduced to e-cigs?

I was listening to Rush Limbaugh and an ad came on for "Smoke Assasin" ... the ad was cheesy as all get up but it made me wonder about it. Did some research, bought a $16 Health e-smoke kit (which was terrible but showed a possibility) that made me think there might be something to this stuff. A little research found this site, and I decided on the 510 and have never looked back.

Thanks everyone!

We'd tried the Chantix, the patch, etc. when my wife saw an e-cig ad in some magazine that showed Leonardo DiCapprio vaping. I did a search on the internet and found SmokeStik (RN4081 model) and we ordered. Quit smoking analogs the day our SmokeStik order arrived in the mail and haven't had one since.

A friend told me about something a while ago, and I had no clue what she was talking about, but said they had them up at the smoke barn here in town. Then another friend told be about the blu e-cig and I looked at there website and thought...cool. Then I started my research and found this site and all the wonderful information and went with the 510 and now I'm a vapaholic, lol, and I want everything now, hehe.

A few friends had posted (through blogs/twitter/facebook) about getting them. I looked into it and didn't have the funds at that time (not that I did this time either, but...)

Then my mom was handed one of the vapor4life cards by one of her patients and we started researching.

I heard about it about 3 months ago from my brother in law, who heard about it on talk radio. Thereafter I bought the first e cig that I could find in town. Was not too thrilled with it, but could see the possiblities. After that I started re-searching, found this site, and became more educated. Now have the Janty ego, and really liking it.

My first expierence was about a year ago at a local tobacco shop and, of corse, it was a smoke anywhere. I ALMOST bought it on the spot cause I thought it was such a great idea. And the whole thing about the carts lasting for 1-2 packs of analogs I though I'd be able to save sooooo much money. Well about then I started thinking that this was too good to be true. Low and behold it was! After a few days of research it brought me here! I am so happy I found ECF! I wound up buying an NJOY NPRO (4081). I was very happy with this product but my new addiction started at this point! I started looking for whats new and better.... I'm now on a 510 and looking to step up to the Chuck or maybe venture into making something similar my self. My buddy (who I converted) is making pass-thru's and box mods now, hopefully we can make enough to start selling back to the wonderful community that got us started!

Me, It was about a year ago. Saw something about how The FDA was going to come to our rescue and save all Americans in from a scam called e-cigarettes. In the news on my homepage. This peaked my interest but felt it was better to keep what little money I had in my pocket and not in some FDA warehouse. Me and tobacco are married, with adults. Thats how long this relationship has been going on. Honey, I want a divorce.
