Where did you get your name?

Mine came out of a joke/insult of sorts. When I worked for New Flyer of America my coworkers would always give me crap for my distinct whistle that comes out when I speak at an eleveated voice (Lisp). After a few months of trying to get my attention by my name, last name, dude, other randoms names someone finally hollered Whistles. It has never left me and now I use it as my photography blog name, stage name, message board name. It is a good gauge of how well people know me in the fire circuit. If someone comes up to me and only addresses me by Whistles than I can usually judge how they met me. If they call me by one of my other nicknames than they probably have known me for awhile.

Mines easy. "J" is for my first name Jo, and my last name is Bagley. My husband is military and they all call each other by last name, his just gets shortened to "Bags". A lot of the people in his shop that don't know me personally call me Mrs Bags, or Bags' wife. So there you go...JBags!
