where do you buy your batteries?

I'm looking to buy some batteries for a mech mod I purchased. After what I've read about the possible issues with customs etc I was wondering where in Canada do you folks buy your batteries from?

I'm looking around but finding that there is a lack of selection or prices are not even comparable to other countries.

Canvape has not bad prices, they don't have AW IMRs tho. I ordered some of the efest 18650s to try out this go as some of my AWs are getting long in the tooth, so we'll see how that goes. I got those ones originally from lighthound but I guess shipping li ion batteries became a big deal over the last few years so yeah likely a dead end there.

The efest batteries from Canvape work very well. Just as well as my aw's I received back when I got my Provari. The prices really can't be beat. Just make sure you specify "flat top or nipple top" depending on what you need. Probably nipple top.

You can get AWs from Maple Leaf Vapes. They're not cheap, but I find the performance justifies the extra cost.

For online, JR Custom Turnings in NS has AWs for a better price (I haven't ordered from here yet):

I've had 3 Efest batteries in rotation since May and two of them are pretty much done for as they don't hold a charge any longer. I haven't been too impressed with the quality of Efest batteries, so I'll be sticking with my AW, Sony and Panasonic batteries.

Thanks for the input. I emailed canvape and they said that they will not be carrying the AW IMR's anytime soon. I think I'll just get some Efest for now and see how it goes.

I bought a couple of Sony VTC4s from Illumination Supply in December. Shipping was $8. Total cost was $25. Got here in about 5 days if I remember correctly by USPS. I'm in the market for a couple more and have looked around Canada again but can't find anyone that can get near this price. I would be very happy to use Canvape, but they don't have any batteries that I would be interested in buying.

I checked out that link, awesome deals on a Nitecore I2 and I4 chargers at the moment. Some of the battery deals look pretty good, too, though mostly what i'm buying at the moment is for a regulated mod that only seems to work with button top AWs.

i always use canvape, except im pretty sure past weekend i ordered a 3400mah green 18650 for my evic and when i went there the guy tried to give me an efest thinking i wouldnt realize, he had my battery in a box showed to me i paid and left, i realized i left my battery there so i go back, the guy i was dealing with stepped out so the kid who waa there tried to look for it for me, the guy had taken my battery out of the box and put it in his personal ...., then when he came back from smoking weed (i could smell it) he tried to hand me an efest 18650 and i was like ugh no? then he magically "found my battery" which was in box 10 mins earlier and now was lying out of box in his pile of .... behind the counter, long story short make sure ur getting what u pay for cuz thats some shady .....

I'm looking for a Panasonic NCR18650PF with Button Top, No Protection. The only place I can reliably find them is Orbtronic but DAAMN they want 40 bucks for shipping. ... is with the cost of shipping batteries, put them in a protective case (a dollar or two at most) and then put them in a box and send them. Does USPS open the box and return it if it's a battery?! and it's certainly not against customs or import laws to buy a battery in Canada.
