Where do you go from 30w and dual coils?

Have had my dna 30w clone long enough to feel the difference between this and my 15w Vamo and VTR is like comparing coors lite to Delerium Nocturnum.

The question is how do I get more flavor and vape from here? 50/50 gourmet juices w/tight 28g dual coils in a Trident at .8ohms and a Fogger V4 at 1 ohm is very good. No question. But if I was looking for an even better vape with more taste are there any significant steps up one can take from here? Money is not a huge object but I wouldn't want to spend $300-400 dollars for a marginal gain.

What a thought provoking question. I chase flavor and please realize we are entering a "subjective" area which may include the power of suggestion. My views may certainly be different than others. At this point I would suggest some experimentation to see if you can produce more flavor from your current equipment. I subscribe to the general theory that when you introduce huge amounts of vapor/clouds you dilute the flavor. Try this:

- Build a single coil which fires with your Vamo (or any decent regulated device) and I would suggest around 1.5 OHM so you have enough room to tweak your voltage up or down and the coil still fires. Start with the lowest voltage setting and move up until you find the best "taste" for you. Obviously, it's a trade off. Less vapor/clouds in exchange (I hope) for "more flavor".

- Try a narrow bore drip tip. About the size of the drip tips on the KF. Not easy to find. I purchased mine from Kayfun Drip Tip 510 Connection Stainless steel

- Play with the AFC. A smaller hole as opposed to some of the monster holes I see may produce "more flavor"

The above is my top three to try first. Certainly their is a large school of thought on ECF about the best wicking material for flavor and different kinds of "wire" for your coil but I'm not inclined to send you down that rabbit hole until you try the above. Nor due I think it's wise via my subjective view to "chase new hardware" until you try the above. Even though we all due it.

Maybe you have already tried my above top three? I have and they work for me. Enter the "subjective universe": My best flavor in a dripper is via my Magma with a single coil using 28G Kanthal (around 1.5OHM) + Organic cotton (Bio-Wick from http://www.vapor-hub.com/product/biowick-organic-cotton-3mm/) bolted onto my ProVari. In the RBA universe I use Fayfuns with the same build for flavor and a ProVari.

you are chasing the Great White Buffalo.

quality gear = product longevity and consistency. it will NOT improve your vape.
great vape = great build.
many people mix the two... Don't go down that path, It gets expensive.

When building i stick to the K.I.S.S. mentality.
Fine tune what you already have, and you will be happy.

many many threads in this forum to help you, with the gear you already own.
see what works for others and try it for yourself.
