Hi Richie, are you expecting it to taste like Dunhill? Dunhill is/was a generic Dekang liquid name (as well as a popular BAT cigarette) but most vendors are (I hope) changing the names. There are no standardised names AFTER the rename however so it might be called Luxury something or other, given that the original Dunhill was based on a Luxury cigarette.

Dawn's liquids are quite different than most other liquids so maybe she has cracked the Dunhill flavour? More power to her if she has but she might want to rename it :D

I hope you find what you are looking for.

Edit : Looks like you were right, Dawn does make a liquid also called Dunhill : http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...-virginia-tobacco-flavoring-4.html#post870511

Thanks for the info, Lib.

Yes, I'm expecting/hoping for it to taste like DeKang's erstwhile Dunhill. I've seen other (American) vendors call it "DoneHill", etc. I did smoke real Dunhills on a few occasions and the DeKang stuff doesn't replicate it very well -- but I *do* like it anyway. For me it tastes like a richer (cigarette) tobacco -- not like a cigar or a pipe but a better grade of cigarette tobacco.

I take it you smoked the real Dunhills? Being that you're in the UK...

hah no, way before my time. What I do know a little about is renaming liquids and the need for renaming them (and I like sharing!). It's one of the weaker flavours I believe from Dekang (not TOO weak though), mildy authentic. Winston Dekang is a very strong tobacco flavour, it's currently quite a fave over in the UK.

Donehill is a terrible name and it probably wouldn't get round copyright laws; its a bit like those that renamed Marlboro as Cowboy Red, Philip Morris ride these vendors just as hard with that type of name change.

Agree on Winston. It's one of my faves too and it has about the best TH that I've encountered. Plus, it's not sweet like the Marlboro can be. Winston is the only liquid I've found thus far that I can be satisfied with as far as TH at less than 16 mg nic.

I don't 'get' that sweet thing that they add to Marlboro. That's the last thing I wanted from my analogs, which was Marlboro Lights. *shrug*

Benson and Hedges is a nice vape also. Lighter than Winston but not sweet either. Kent liquid is suprising as far as TH goes. It's a good, satisfying hit for me and easily an all day vape. Surprising because it's a wimpy hitting analog. Akin to language, I guess there is a loss in the Chinglish translation. =)

I like the semantics of getting around copyright laws, btw. It's always fun to play around with our English language and taking pot shots at Big Tobacco is just an added bonus. LOL

It is quite fun Richie, I can see what you mean :) Some people just don't try though :( Quite a popular one is something like Desert Hunchback for Camel, I remember reading a review of an ECIS liquid and it took me about a week to figure out what the hell they were on about, that's actually a side issue to the name being terrible. Some are pretty easy to rename, Camel quite easily becomes Turk(ish) American Blend given that, well, that's what it is. I guess if you also smoked Camel you would know that and thus be drawn to it. I think they have to retain a certain element of the original name (or just be good), but yeah, blame the lazy chinese back when they first made these liquids :)

MyFreedomSmokes carries Dunhill. If memory serves, it it quite like the analogs of that name, but milder. They also have B&H, which is my absolute favorite. Some people say Dunhill and B&H are similar - both being British cigarettes. B&H, though, tastes nothing like Beson and Hedges analogs. Unlike most people here, I don't care for Kent at all. It tastes like a dirty ashtray to me. MFS has just about all of the tobacco flavors. You could get a bunch of samples and see what you like. The quality is good, prices are great, and service can't be beat.
