have the southern accent and say y'all a lot. .

Born Atlanta, raised metro-Atlanta... and if I couldn't say "y'all" I'd have the very devil of a time trying to say "plural you"!! Outside the south, I've noticed that folks tend to spell it "ya'll" but that's not right... it's a contraction for *plural you* -- "you all" -- "y'all" !
