I gave up on my 510 attys, they give me a horrible burnt taste but i havent tried cleaning them, i dont feel the need to since i got a kr808. Cartomizers are just soo cheap i dont mind when i burn them out. Bought a 510-808 adapter from GP and been using that ever since. Im surprized at how many times i can fill them before they really stop working right.

that is probably true. The older ones were tested more-so.
and it was also before the new style came out and also before the HV new came out.

Maybe manufacturing could control the problems, all due to the high demand

I don't know if they are the same material or not but I do know they vary by densities. Some use an alpha rating system like L,K,N,O, some use numeric 30,40,50, and still other brands use stage descriptions like primary, secondary, final, polishing. Last recommendation I think I remember seeing on the forum was N,40 . If I can find the thread on it, I'll send you the link.

Great, dont try hard, I will probably hit up the socalled worlds largest fish store in the next few days, They have a selection that will have me touching everything in sight..
