Where to buy empty bottles

Hey all. Until now I have just been adding empty bottles onto orders when needed, but I really don't need anything but bottles right now (from 5ml to 30ml or higher) and don't wanna pay $5 shipping for some bottles.

Anybody know of anywhere with relatively low shipping for DIY bottles?

I get mine from Candle Chem.

I buy in large lots because I'm always making experiments. (That ammo belt someone suggested is starting to sound reasonable). It is $10 shipping, but I end up paying $0.04 a bottle.

(Yeah, I might have an issue. But I've got plenty of bottles dagnabit.)

It cost five bucks to ship anything of size these days. The only way around it is to buy in quantity so your per unit cost is low. Nothing is free....shipping is either added or included in the cost of the bottle.

I purchased 100 6mL bottles from US Plastics back in February and ended up paying $11.57 in shipping, so the delivered price came to slightly more than $0.34 each. Not the best deal on the planet, but at the time I was tired of running out of bottles.

That depends on how many you need. OneStopDIYShop sells them individually for a bout $.50 each and I just toss a few in when I order. Since I am now going to start ordering my stuff in bulk though, I'll be placing an order for a few hundred bottles from US Plastic. All things considered, the price isn't bad even with shipping.

I just received samples from my supplier (used to sell cosmetic jars on ebay) and they have very good quality.

3ml with dropper insert and white cap $80.00/1000
6ml with dropper tip insert and white cap $125.00/500

I am not sure if can order yourself but am willing to split an order with a few people. I can't remember their shipping *they use UPS. I want to say my typical order was aroun 2000 jars (heavier) and it was about $20.00.

I have ordered from CandleChem and they are semi-cheap, USPlastics is cheaper for huge amounts. CandleChem also has the amber glass bottles with droppers at a pretty good price. Just my opinion........

all of the 3ml bottles with the dropper inserts do this? They seem pretty sturdy but will find out once I fill the one I got as a sample.

Prices good, shipping quick and quality good - you can request free samples before you buy. Also the limits are pretty small. I would be willing to split a 3ml order if you don't want 1,000.

Occasionally, small bottles end up on sciplus.com for reasonable prices, as well as larger bottles and all sorts of things you might need for...well, just about anything. Also, fantastic avatar, Whiskey...but she looks a bit cold.

THey are not hard plastic but not super soft either - I can squeeze it fairly easy. The samples are free and they come quick. They do have glass ones but are alot higher in price. I never ordered from VB so I can't compare.

yea $80 is quite a bit outlay but at .08 each makes them about the cheapest. The 3ml are nice to do small or test batches or take with you for the day but I can't justify 1000 of them either. The downfall of splitting them is paying to ship twice, however with flat rate boxes, I am sure you can get a few hundred in the box.

I find the softer plastic ones tend to get a little leaky after a while...If you come up with any that are more like this give me a shout sweety!!!!

Liberty flights is where I get mine. Not the cheapest around, but they have childproof caps, and are not the flimsy type.
