the whistle tips seem to inhibit the flow of vape, but i dont really have anything to compare to. been vaping for a month or so and still tobacco free! so I am really open to new types of tips, thanks for the link. I eventually need to get a pass through since I am either at my computer or in my car, so I am a little worried about juice dripping out the tip.

Hi tom, theres regular ego drip tips... like this....http://www.cignot.com/product_p/ego-dco-all.htm this should fit the ego cone style cartomizer great ... i have one that i milled down to fit into a ce2 giantomizer because i didnt like the whistle tip.... This does provide a better draw than the whistle tips in my opinion... also it feels less chinsy

That one will definitely fit on the ego mega dcc! I have some of them! I'm not sure that will fit on the echo-e though. If you saw them, you were right about the emdcc shaped like a barrel. These sort of taper and are a tiny bit smaller than the ones from Cignot.

cool thanks Iusedtoanalog and swedishfish does anyone make stainless or glass that fit the echo's?

I have found everything works on the echo-e battery (which I love) except for smoketek 1.7 cartomizers. For some reason the end of the 1.7 cartomizer is slightly recessed and doesn't make a connection. Mad Vapes sells an adaptor though that works. Otherwise, everything I've tried works on it. - boge cartos, echo-e, emdcc, clearomizers.

I guess as long as i specifically look for 801 drip tips I should be good no matter the material...? from what you all are saying.

Only for that particular cartomizer. Otherwise standard 510 drip tips. That's what you'd use on the boge, or one of the other cartomizers- the 510 or 808 will work. Just the bigger, oddly shaped cartomizers might need a different drip tip.

do you know how long the emdcc tend to last? I know that vaping habits and refilling frequencies matter, but curious, because I guess when it goes it just wont make any vaper? Is that the case?

They seem to last longer than regular cartomizer. At least they have for me. The downside of the big cartomizer is I think the draw is a little harder, probably because they contain so much filling. But once they get going they work great. Sometimes if they don't seem to be working that well, check to make sure the center channel is clear. If you look and can't see through it, get a pin or something and straighten it. Gently.
