Where to buy kanthal and Silica/ekowool locally?

hey does anyone know if a local shop would carry the rba rebuild materials, i am about 2 hits away from this set going out on me and coulda sworn i had more... guess i dont. Anyway the local vape shop sells this stuff for absurd amounts, and was wondering if a hardware store (ie. home depot, osh) would have this kinda stuff?

You are out of luck with the Kanthal. Home Depot and the like does not carry Kanthal. You could pick up some cotton balls or cotton yarn though. You are stuck with mail order or paying high prices.

so i just found about 3 ft of 30 gauge kanthal and my girlfriends organic cotton balls.... micro coil anyone?! should hold me over for a couple days.. if not back to my svd/pt2 combo, grrrrrrrrrrrrrr now that im a mech snob.

I bought 100' of 28g kanthal off amazon for $5.

Yeah, sorry I had the same issue at one point. You will get ripped off at a local store. Ebay is the best place to get kanthal. Here is where I got mine from. If you're in a great hurry then you can upgrade the shipping too.
