Where To Buy ? Nuts for 510 adapters

hey all

i cant seem to find these anywhere

i use the 510 to ego adapters on all my mods

only problem is...they dont come with the attach nuts

i know they come with the shorty 510 extension at madvapes...
but i cant spend $7 just to get a nut
did i really just say that ?

moving on, lol

i cant tap the mod because its usually thin plastic i am mounting the adapter to
and i really dont want to rely on a glob of jb qwik to hold it

if anyone knows of a place, preferably in the good ol usa
i would really appreciate it

Take one to home depot/fastenal/ insert hardware store name here, and try a few on...I'll bet u find something that fits and closer to the 7 cent range

they are like an oddball mm size

like 6.5 or 7.5

some kind of chinese proprietary fitting, i guess

wonder if i could maybe get some std 6mm or 7mm nuts and tap them out ?

i would still have to order those special taps online
cant find them locally either

the thread pitch is the oddball part

you should also check out this thread as other modders posted about being carefull and modding the shorty extensions to better prevent shorting...

I've used an old 510 connector with out positive post. If it's to long cut it to desired length.
