I was using those "make up remover" cotton pads from watsons/guardian for more than half a year now(since I started vaping).

Just bought some sterlie cotton balls and "non woven gauze" from mustafa, IMO, can use them almost right away, very little or almost none cotton taste..

Most of the cotton I used need to "run in" for probably about half a tank in my kayfun. but this works great.. of course at a price..
They are like $1.50 - $2.50 depending on what u want.. and only come in smaller quantities as they are sterilised by gamma irridiation..

The package looks something like this:

Bro, just to check, does your KF get dry hits?

To answer right away:
Yes I do, sometimes

But there are several reasons to it:

1. Freshly charged batteries replaced with weak ones - sudden surge in power might cause cotton to burn causing dry hits

2. Certain kind of liquid may cause U to get dry hit easier than others

3. Cotton too thick, not wicking fast enough, purpose of the wick is to draw liquid onto the coils, too thick would mean that it is not drawing enough.

Ditto that. Shiseido cotton pad, 100% untreated cotton. As good as Koh Gen Do. I've used both and there is no wicking or taste difference between the two.

Pad is much easier to use as compared to cotton ball. Cut to size, slip in, trim and you're good to go.
