Where to find Mech. mod button

Hi everyone, I (like many others) intend on making my first mod. So I have a few questions of the people who have experience doing this. First, where do you get the bottom fire buttons that everyone uses. I don't know what to Google for so I can't find it. Any help appreciated.

Second question, I wanted to make a copper mod first. Can I use a cheap tap and die kit for threads or is it better to just use the slots cut in the copper that I've seen most people use? Also, does anyone know a good size for a copper tube for the 18650 battery?

If these questions have been asked before, I apologize for you having to put up with them again

Thanks BigFoig, This link is a great help. Now I just need to find out the size copper tube, but I guess I can do that at the hardware store <g>

Yup! I was going to build one myself too but I got a bit lazy and don't got much time at the moment, but I did do a lot of research lol, I found myself in the hardware store trying to piece random things together too. Good luck with your build!

Opps... after looking at it (and reading your response) I'm looking for one of the side mounted buttons that are at the bottom.

The size of the battery is in the name 18/ (diameter in mm)65 (length in mm)0 (round cell) Just make sure your ID is bigger than 18 mm and you have room for the rest of your circuitry. If you're doing a mech (which I would recommend for a first) that shouldn't be an issue
