I got everything at madvapes. 7 bucks for the charger -couldn't pass that up. Got the battery connectors from them too (they even threw in an extra one). The batteries are Ultrafire though. But from what I've read there doesn't seem to be much of a difference between the brands except for the mah rating, which is a lie anyway unless you get the more expensive AW cells.

I'm no expert though, that's just what I've read.

edit: Oh yeah, they gave me a free keychain flashlight too! :D

I like DealExtreme for low prices and free shipping.

$4.75 a pair for the batteries you mention. Around $13-14 for a UltraFire WF-139 that does 14500/17500/18500/17670/18650. If you order one of these, make sure you order the one with the cord you want. Some come with the mains cord, some come with the car charger cord.

Don't order from them if you're in a hurry. The quickest delivery I've seen was 10 days. The worst was a few weeks.

Edit: I forgot, you have to sign for their packages since they're international registered airmail.

When he has them in stock. He has good prices, fast, and free shipping. The TR-001 dual charger and 4 14500's for $20.00 and the 14500's for $2.68 with free shipping.
Flashlights, Batteries, etc : High Tech DealZ, Simplifying the LASER Hobby! use the coupon code HellenECF10 and get 10% off.

I have to second that! I get most all my batteries and chargers here. Kendall is a great guy and has great prices. Most everything I've ordered from him I receive within 3-5 days.

DealExtreme took me 10days Counting from when I placed order.
They get the items from the business's Then they ship.
takes forever sitting in HK then it does in states.after mine hit states it got here within 2-3 days.

Ive used DX for years.. But always beware of which batteries you Purchase from any site. LION Batteries are not true MAH. unless you spend Xtra to get Relabeled & Tested.
2400-3000 is about 2100-2500 tops. (Depending on your test & amount of charge.) Google stuff such as 18650 mah test
Flashlight modding shows the best info currently I have found.

if dx dont have it then I look at Batteryjunction.com
then I look at ebay & Google searches.
DX is wholesale to the public.

The site hightechdealz seems to have good prices also
takes lots of research.
also suggest's looking up flashlight & laser mods to find tubes barrels & batteries.

No idea where you looked, but you don't need to look further then the first page of this thread. And I'm not talking about DX.

High Tech DealZ, just got more in stock, or try thecustomsabershop TrustFire Protected 14500 Lithium Battery (2-Pack). Both places are inexpensive, trustworthy, and have fast shipping.

Also, 1.97" is the length of an UNPROTECTED 14500. You need to be very careful ordering from DX, or from ebay, so just get em from one of the 2 above sites, and you shouldn't have any problems.

EZ Duzit is correct.
1.97 is unprotected Generally
I had a protected flattop that matched the 1.97-1.98
also sometimes they don't measure from the button top.
I generally cross searched the battery before I ever will buy it from anywhere.
I found a site a while back in the states that said there battery was protected & I crossed the battery number they gave me. & Turned out to be a unprotected Battery.

If your ever unsure of the battery Email & Ask them the battery model & Try to google that battery model. example trustfire TR18650 is a 2500mah 3.7v & From all my searches shows its protected. LC14500 900mah 3.6v Protected.

Color is also important usually. the TR is Blue while the LC is Gray
All the info I am giving is generally So to speak of my searching Reading & Stuff.
I just noticed on my ultrafire they stamp there name in the - post.

Comparison shop the various Hong Kong sites. Here is a list of most of them:DealExtreme Alternatives
another one I've usedhttp://www.bestofferbuy.com/consumer-electronics-battery-c-12_164.html

Then check out reviews and tests here:Flashlight Electronics - Batteries Included - Threads of Interest - CandlePowerForums

Here are the results of a Li-Ion Battery Shoot Out: Li-Ion Battery Shoot Out - CandlePowerForums

The flashlight guys seem to think AW has the best batteries. Here is his dealer thread on cpfmarketplacehttp://www.cpfmarketplace.com/mp/showthread.php?t=200812
