And it does eventually spoil, unless you have a freezer large enough for it. VG spoils quicker.

Just ordered a gallon each from WL. Any idea what their shelf life actually is? Gonna have a lot of mixing to do now...
Some say they have been using their's for years. Mine came with an expiriation date on it. I bought a gallon of each and broke it up into 4 sterilized 1 quart glass mason jars for each gallon. That way I'm only working from1 while the others are being chilled. Here's a thread that may give you some information on the matter:

That brings up an interesting idea. I wonder if you could can it like jam? Mix it for base, with your favorite nic content, or maybe several. Bring it up to 188 deg, ladle it into sterilized jars, and put the lids on? That would not use freezer space. Would it make your kitchen excessively foggy? Probably not, since VG produces more fog, and its boiling point is 290.

I carried that gallon jug of PG in the trunk of my car all winter. I just sterilized six one-pint jars, heated the PG until it was steamy, and poured it in the jars. I think, despite lower temps, that I will get a seal. I am feeling sure of myself in this, given the fact that PG has antiseptic qualities, that this will keep until I use it all up.
Wal-Mart VG tastes weird to me. Like...a balmy smokey flavor that makes all juices kind of suck a little bit. Does anyone else experience this?

Have a small bottle of VG from Walmart; haven't even tried it yet. Looks to be a lot thicker viscosity than the VG from WL that I've been using. Mason jars will break down a gallon nicely. Now I need to be looking at placing an order from Poland for some additional flavorings.
I just checked with EssentialDepot about small bottles of PG and VG and they indicated they smallest is 3oz of VG and nothing that small of PG. I was hoping to try their PG and VG before getting a larger bottles in case I didn't care for either one. I can do with the 3oz VG, but am curious if anyone knows a source for a small amount of PG? Do they sell to someone else who repackages in smaller lots? TIA

I got mine on Amazon. The merchant was Essential Depot, but fulfilled by Amazon. Both bottles were one quart and the cost was $24.42 for both. I wasn't charged for shipping since I'm a Prime member and there was no tax charged as well.
Guess I'll just have to be brave and get the quart sizes. I have so many items here that I wasn't able to sample or get in small amounts and now they just sit and take up space...lol. I do want to try their VG and PG though. Thanks for the info, Sandy.....
Ive been very happy with wizard labs PG. you can get 120 ml for 3 bucks ish. Im all over the place on vg.
Understand about price. I simply don't want to accumulate more stuff that I don't use or don't like. I'm trying to pare down the clutter rather than add to it....lol. Prefer to buy "bulk" and keep in the freezer and I've been wanting to try some other PG and VG because Wizard Lab is getting slower and slower when I order plus FL sales tax. Have enough nic, so it's not a matter of that because no doubt in my mind that Wizard's nic is superior.
Niburian, I totally agree with you. I think the Walmart brand is called Humco. Not only does it make all the juices and flavors taste "plasticky", it makes me cough like crazy when I vape it. I think the best is the Wilton's brand, found at hobby lobby, Michaels crafts, or any craft store. It's used to make cake icing, found in cake decorating aisle. I think it has a sweeter taste. I've searched high & low on where to buy the Wilton's in bulk sizes, but no luck. A 2 oz bottle is about $2.50-$2.99

Humco makes vg under their own label, and from the look of the bottle, CVS as well. Probably anyone can order enough to get a label like walmart, other drug stores and craft stores. That is why I find it strange that people report different taste from some stores and not others with probably the same vg in the bottle. Storage or shelf time maybe?
