I have no idea what i'm doing atm. no clue at all!

the meshing i want is 270 mesh, but in actuality i kinda have only a bit of knowledge on what that actually means. correct me if i'm wrong, but i'm sure it's 270 wires? maybe holes? per sq. in.?

well either way that's what i want. and ebay just either gives me some kind of 304 (later learning it's a "304" carbon material, not the wire/hole count). though, i have no idea on what.... err let's just say number mesh, it is; i.e. 270, 300, 340, 400 mesh.

i see 400x400 or 300x300 but no idea what that means. i'm only assuming it has to do something with the number mesh thingy thing i'm calling it, but it's giving me a headache... and honestly i could do research, not that i haven't tried, but my mindset right now is it should be as simple as just giving numbers. and ebay is contradicting me and frustrating me.

can anyone help me out? i'm not only looking for 270 mesh, but i'm also looking to try other meshs like; 400, 300, and 200. i have a feeling 270 is what i'm looking for however.

if they're vendors that sell a variety of ss mesh; well... lead me there instead of ebay. cause ebay is either sold out of what i want or just confusing me even more. i don't wanna buy something that i won't end up using at all; as this is only for experimenting

First, the number 400, 325, etc. is holes per linear inch. The 304 is food grade stainless steel. People who use high VG juices tend to prefer 325 or below. 400 is preferred by PG users.

There are many places cropping up that sell mesh, kanthal, etc. Some are stateside and others are overseas. The tried and true place is the Mesh Co. in the UK. They usually throw in extra sheets too. For other places, start your search here, or run a search in the search bar top right.
