I will stealth vape in the bathroom in school. In a restaurant, if it's completely non-smoking, I'll just wait until I get back into the car. No biggie, really.

I have asked to use my ProVari at a non-smoking bar and they were cool with it. So, in my opinion the best bet would be to first ask and if they say no and it's truly necessary, stealth vape a hit in the bathroom. But always, ALWAYS be respectful! :2c:

I pretty much vape only where I would regularly smoke, with few exceptions. This weekend, for instance, I was at a football game. Smoking is not allowed anywhere in the stadium, I don't think. I didn't vape at all while in my seat, but when I was walking up and down ramps in a big crowd I took a couple quick hits. I wouldn't really call it stealth vaping, as I didn't really try to hide it. I would just take a hit and hold it until my PV was back in my pocket. I still exhaled vapor but no one ever noticed or cared. I only discovered vaping this spring, but I'm guessing that in the winter I'll probably do this more often, since everyone will be exhaling vapor anyway.

I do it like Fray vape where you normally would have smoked. People are not 100% open to vaping and to avoid a bad image towards people that vape I just try to not push it. If we all smoked wherever we wanted people would at one point feel negative towards e-cig's just do it wherever you think it's right.

I just don't like lumping e-cigs into the same category as cigarettes by only using them in smoking sections. Then they'll get viewed as cigarettes and not as something completely different that is safe to use everywhere. So in that case, we might as well hit them with a 1500% tax increase and ban them everywhere smoking is banned, in essence, make them into cigarettes. I'm not a believe in that.

I vape where ever...for the most part. I didnt smoke in the smoking area at work...I went to my car... so thats where I break and vape...but I tend to tell myself that its because I lean towards anti social.... I have vaped a few times in the vault where I work but I am alone so no one knows and the cameras are manned by some squirt in Atlanta and he hasnt called me yet to ask about it or banish it....I vape all the way to the doors of places of business and pop the pv into my pocket upon entrance....no biggie...I am not outlandish but I dont treat it like a cigarette either....I would ask or stealth vape in a restraunt or theater if I felt the need...

In the grand scheme of things you may be right. I just really don't like hassles or confrontations. There is a difference between people who like to vape and e cig activists.

I don't think me insisting to management that I should be able to vape in chilis is helping the cause though.

I agree, I don't like to start problems either. Not saying you should insist on vaping in chilis, but educating anybody on vaping will always help the cause. But I don't go around educating people either. Somebody else put it best when they said "It's easier to ask for forgiveness than permission". So that's what I tend to go with.

yes the stigma of it looking like smoke is the hardest part.... used to be people had to smell it or have it waft in their direction before they cared...now they see it across the room and get annoyed.

I pretty much vape where I want to... I do not flaunt it .... but i get more looks then anything else... no one really says anything to me (most of the time).... If they do I try to educate them... works best when you use a BLU/Green LED

but yes always be respectful ;)
