i agree , if nicotine were the main reason we could do it only with the chewing gum . it is more addiction to be puffing and see the smoke/vapor than the nicotine ,

My fav was cinnamon---got a .... load of it around. Just got into a new bottle and it taste terrible---don't know if if it's just this bottle or what---and I got two 120ml of this stuff at the same time. Been working with it---adding cin oil helped but still taste pretty bad.
I've been doing caramel popcorn most of the day and it doesn't taste too bad.
I should add the old cinnamon taste fine.
I believe that's the hardest part of quitting, Alex, not the nicotine. That's why people will not smoke for years, but end up going back to it.

I think those of us vaping works best for are the ones who feel that way. I "smoked" over 3 packs a day but what I really did was light over 3 packs. That way there was always a lit cig to play with when I turned around. But I probably exposed myself to more second hand smoke than I inhaled directly.
I definitely started vaping with the intent to quit. I had actually decided not to try again. I was so tired of failing. Then I learned about PVs and it just seemed like they would work for me.
I started at 24mg (with a little 36mg to wake up). Seemed reasonable as I smoked 3+ packs. The day I gave myself a mini-OD, I went to 12mg. When I had pneumonia this summer I vaped so little (maybe half a dozen puffs a day for the 3 days I was in the hospital) that I thought I could go nicotine free. It lasted a month. Those last few days was the only time I was in danger of buying a pack of cigs. So I went to 6mg. That's just enough to take the edge off and keep me from craving more. During the fall, I was doing 0mg at night but I've been too stressed recently. I do want to do that again soon.
