Thanks Ralph. One of the tree branches did some minor damage to one of my ham antennas, but it's an easy fix. The other one I heard crash about an hour ago. I think it went down in the woods, I will know better tomorrow, when I look at in daylight.

I always wanted to be a ham operator. Just didn't have the patience for the code. Now I am just a ham. :(

I think it was Jimmy Carter that signed a bill allowing us to make our own beer. It was illegal prior to that. This encouraged home brew and reviving the art of craft brewing. Which in turn encouraged small local breweries to spring up. I never was a Jimmy fan, but that was a smart move. :toast:

I want to try some of that....LOL

come on over - im on the last bottle he brought with him last november - he brings 5 bottles with him every year when he visits - this year he will not visit as his puppy has not been fully trained in hunting - my dad is a hunting nut!
gosh I could tell stories of when I was a kid and went hunting with him for hours - hes a riot! + makes the best wine...

My brother brewed his own beer for a while. It was fine.

My Dad made beer when I was a kid. He wasn't much of a drinker, but he had a homebrewed beer every now and then. I remember working the press that put the bottle caps on.
