The kids got their first lesson at an early age.
It was also my idea to take the firing pin out and keeping it separate. Paranoid maybe but didn't want to take any chance with the kids.

And afternoon all.

NRA has an Eddie Eagle program for kids but a well informed parent is just as good. Basically - if you see a gun - get an adult :)

As long as you never have an immediate need for the gun then you should be good. Depends on just how paranoid you are exactly :laugh:

My sister is 10 years younger than me and she grew up with guns in the house. I taught her a healthy respect for them. She learned at a very young age that they are not toys and should be treated and handled with extreme caution. She did and still does, as her husband has some firearms as well. I taught the same lessons to her children and I had no problems with them either.
