Morning Afternoon Z!!!! Have a doughnut. It's on me. :)

I have my own little wheat field to mow in the back yard. It's about tall enough for harvest time too. I figure three or four passes over it with the mower and it'll be good. :)

<== Maybe I can get the mowing attachment for this thing. I'll have that yard done by about Wednesday. :D

My goodness Z, you must have a great yard with all the work you put into it every year.

When we got the dog, we simplified. That means, in the backyard, since she is on a run and a lead, we removed just about everything she could get tangled up on. So it's down to jump on the rider and mow. Very little trimming. I do have spring flowers in the front where doggie can't get to and I'm thinking about putting some Mums in but all that is in pea gravel close to the house. Upkeep is so easy that we probably won't ever change things.

Lazy person's yard.

Concrete, rocks or astro-turf would be my lazy yard, but I don't have one like that. I'm not 25 either.

HI in here jag.

The one thing that I do have to put up is weeds in the pea gravel area. It's not a problem in the front cause I can spray them. I do use apple cider where Buddie can get to and it does work but it doesn't kill the root so they keep coming back. :grr:

Apple cider? :?: I didn't know that.

How about landscape fabric under the gravel? Dog could dig it up though.

I tired the landscape fabric. Worked pretty good the first year. DH blows grass on it when he mows and the grass and weeds started to grow and those little roots would weave right into it and then they were a bear to remove.
Newspaper worked real good for about a year too but then I'd have to replace. I just gave up and went back to spraying the little burgers!!!
