You are worse than me, Norie. Remember last winter, when they made a small change to the forum, you were ready to leave the place. :facepalm:

But after watching everyone else carp about the latest changes, I think I was one of the better ones as far as accepting the new changes.

Renee, I absolutely abhor the 2010 MS suite. I think it is the most ridiculous piece of junk and they made it extremely non-user friendly. Outlook really bites! Can't figure out how to even delete the deleted emails unless I do it one at a time. No select all. But I have it at work and got it extremely cheap through them so I put it on my new laptop. I'm half tempted to go back to open office and outlook express.

You can select one and hold done the shift key and page down to the end of your deleted messages and hit your delete key.

They moved everything around and changed the tab names too in Excel....grrrrr!!! That was so annoying we bought a book...couldn't find a darn thing.

Hi again, Surf. It's a chat thread, no topic. Just say whatever is on your mind.

More like a "babble thread," isn't it?

I have a desktop computer. I am a touch typist and I want a full-size keyboard. The computer stays in one place. As for the mouse & keyboard, it's a lot harder to lose something that is tethered to the keyboard. Plus they don't have batteries that need changing. I change enough batteries as it is.

Why would you move EVERYTHING though?? I can't even find the 'draw' toolbar anymore. They were offering some 'brown bag' lunch courses but since I never take a real lunch I missed those and I guess some on-line classes............like I have time for that!

Boy, Surf didn't hang around long!! :laugh:

Makes no sense to move everything rename the tabs and call it more user friendly :facepalm:

He posted and ran :laugh::laugh:

I would say so, Jane, sometimes an incoherent babble thread. :laugh:

When we got the new MS programs we were going nuts trying to find everything in Excel. :facepalm:

Yes. Orifice 2007 and 2010 throw a lot of folks. 2003 was just fine and functional!

Oh dear. I don't want to hear that. I haven't seen the newest MS Office. When the last version came out, I spent hours trying to figure out where they had hidden the "don't print the gridlines" box.

I've got MS Office for the Mac. Word stinks. You know how, on the PC, if you scroll too fast the same line covers the whole screen? On the Mac, it collapses the text so you have a paragraph from page 5 followed by page 19. And it doesn't look glitchy. It looks like you lost 14 pages of text. (On the plus side, Excel for the Mac never does the runaway thing where it decides you either want to highlight 3 rows or 2,147 rows. Nothing in between.)
