I've never managed to have a couch-aged m&m. the beasties get them first.
i have had food in the freezer for a long time- but not 12 years- i throw it out when i move.

I cycle stuff so it doesn't get 12 YEARS OLD. The stuff is doing good to make it 12 months.
I routinely find stuff in there that is "questionable". Best laid plans. It looked good when I got it at Costco.... And then its all frozen ice crystals by the time I want to cook it. - Status
