Do you have to pay a monthly fee to use the online features?

I'm not sure yet, but I'm sure that's a big possibility!

Oops, I'll just say a quick hello to Renee and then let you ladies continue on with your Kindle conversation. :)

Hi Jerry :)

I go through spells. Mainly when I doing the waiting game or doing a series with my daughter. I started out just wanting a plain ole Kindle and now thinking of bigger and better. I just don't think I'll use the bigger and better enough to make it worth it.
But I do want something I can download to without having to use a computer to do so, but I don't want to pay a fee for the privilege.

You don't have to pay a fee to download books from Amazon. I don't pay anything for the 3G that is on mine. You just get on Amazon choose a book and click on buy......even if it's free you have to click on it. Amazon will keep it in your history in case something happens to your Kindle, they will have a history of all your books. I tried to download a book that I had already read and Amazon told me so.....LOL
