Actually, once they go critical, you have mere seconds to get away.

I got a few of these before vacation.

Amazon.com: Dynamite DYN1400, Li-Po Charge Protection Bag, Small: Toys & Games

Even though they are 'small' they're a bit big for single eGo batt chargers, so I'm going to cut one of them in half and sew it up and have two the right size. The 'end plug' on eGo's are made to give, so that helps but I still like the idea of them being covered when charging - not that big of a hassle. I still don't/won't leave any one when I go to sleep or go out.

Thanks for the link, Kent. I've been a little lazy about unplugging, especially overnight. That stops now. And I do need to get a new charger for my 18650s. The one I have now plugs straight into the outlet without a cord so I can't put it in one of those bags. (Should we charge our cell phones in them, too?)

Off the charger I'm in good shape. My MBMs use NiMH batteries (and I gather they are not stacked.) The big Chuck can use stacked Li-Ion batts but I don't like vaping 6.0V so I've just been using them for dry burns & don't put them near my face.

Funny timing -- just this week I put an eGo-T batt in my recycling pile. It stopped turning off if an atomizer is connected. A short or something.
