I use it non stop at work.......it gets easier the more you use it. I don't know how to use all the macros and stuff like that, never had any use for it yet.

I love Excel. If I had to choose between having a spreadsheet program and a word processing program on my computer, wp would be gone. I can do macros (or I could -- haven't done any for a while, might have forgotten how) but I can't do stuff like pivot tables.
I also enjoy teaching it to people but I wouldn't want to try to teach it all to them in one afternoon.
Favorite formula name is "concatenate" WTF? Was their goal to ensure that the fewest number of people possible knew how to merge two cells?

i can't do macros, but i can do half-arsed pivot tables and formulas. I have to admit i like formulas in excel, cause i can set up the math once, and repeat as needed

Did some work in some programs. Learned in classes that I took at junior college. Never really did anything with it after that (family situation and all that).
That was years ago and what I used is soooooooooooooo outdated.
