Don't you think it would be nice to have a delete option in here sometimes? You say something stupid maybe...and we all do at times...and you just wish there was a do over? Lol. Just saying....

Yes, but delete means that everyone who has replied ends up looking sort of dumb. At least if it's edited to read "Never Mind" everyone will know that we at least replied to something. Actually, I am always surprised at fora that allow editing after a post has had replies.

I did the quote one time it was hilarious.
This girl typed something along the lines of "I'll stop by and pick up the birds tomorrow, etc etc"
I quoted it before it could be edited, for fun. I said something along the lines of "That sounds great, just be here before 6" lol.

I know about that, Iffy. I have been known to quote for exactly the same reason.
You can run, but you can't edit a post when it's quoted. Unless, of course, you happen to be PDIB . . .. the rockin'-est .... coil wrapper in the known universe.

Well, you can always ask the person who quoted your post to edit the quote... Believe me, I've done that in the past.
And the last resort--ask a friendly moderator for help. They can hard delete anything.
