I decided to go to Hobby Lobby and see what lorann flavors they had before ordering some off the interweb.

The first one I tried was butter rum and it was mixed 1/3 PG to 1/3 flavor to 1/3 EcoPure Rich (30mg) @ 1ml each. I can kinda taste the flavor if I try, but it's not near as strong as liquid I've bought from RMV.

The second attempt was 50/50 EcoPure Rich (30mg) and flavor.

Should I try a 1/3 ecopure and 2/3 flavor???

Some flavors seem stronger then others, but your right about the butter rum, I just added a few more drops to mine. Didn't really help much though. I'm not sure where the people making the juice get their flavors from, but I doubt it's Loranns.

By the way, a cheaper place to get the Loranns flavoring is ebay. Ordered 24 flavors for $35 shipped.

I was the same when I started vaping: couldn't really distinguish between flavours. However, now I have reduced the amount I add to mixes right down!

Some things to consider:

  1. Your tastebuds aren't firing on all cylinders until you've given up analogues for some time
  2. With many flavours, less is more. (They won't taste of what they're supposed to if you add too much and you'll only taste a 'chemical'). Start with a small amount (max 10%) and add from there if necessary): I am actually down to around an average of 5% flavouring and can taste it better than when I was adding 20%+ in the early days.... but see points 1 and 3 as well as I have been at this a while now and also changed my base
  3. The base liquid you start with has a huge bearing on what the end result will be. Some 'unflavoured' is more 'unflavoured' than others ;)

Butter Rum seemed quite strong to me at 20% concentration, but I mix my liquid using an unflavored PG base nicotine liquid. I should also note, that I use VG instead of PG to reduce the nicotine. This didn't seem to reduce the flavor of Butter Rum when used at 20% of the mixture.
