TBH I still use the little old ohm meter like this. I have a coilmaster tab from the v3 kit and I thought it was garbage.

Yeah but don't you find it overly awkward to build like that?My mod always falls over.

Sometimes my mods fall over too, so I pull out an Eleaf Pico to use as a base for building coils. It's the mod that's the least likely to tip over. If you don't have a Pico, you might check your other mods to see which ones are the least likely to tip over.

Never had one....I had one of the little checkers at one point, but I build pretty much the same coils over and over....and in the same atty. I guess I've found what works for me. If I do stray from the norm, I'll use a regulated mod, like ninja said.

I only build on the heavy metal base that came with the Rose and it's clones.
Perfect.

I like my CM 521 Tab, the original/bigger one. Like @Zutankhamun said, building, checking and adjusting the coils on top of a mod can easily result in them tipping over. This way it's squat, stable, and I do everything on the same base from mounting, resistance checking, adjusting, firing to check the coil and strum or whatever as needed, wick, and wet. Screw the base back onto the top of the tank and no aggravation. I've had it almost a year and still working just fine.

I own and have been using the Geekvape 521 tab MINI since it came out. Zero issues at all and it's always super accurate to the exact resistance. Whatever the Geekvape reads any mod I stick the RTA base on reads the exact same ohms
