Thanks Katya, it's good to be back. I do have a huge supply of cartos and tanks to use up. The vaping technology changes almost as fast as computer technology. I didn't realize how far behind I am. I'm still using these. It takes 4 to get me through a day.

I use 29 and 28g Kanthal. I buy mine directly from Temco--quality wire and free shipping. Amazon carries Temco, too.

I use cotton for my wicks. You can use cotton balls as long as they are organic--avoid regular cotton balls as they are bleached with chlorine. I prefer cotton pads--Koh Gen Doh and Labo (Puff) are both available on Amazon, but if you just want to try a small amount, get some Muji (or other organic cotton pads from Fasttech--free shipping). You'll want to have some good cotton or rayon on hand for rewicking your CLR coils--it's really easy and will extend the life of your CLR coils substantially even if you don't rebuild.

If you want to rebuild, you should invest in a simple coil making gizmo. I like this one Tobeco Kuro coiler. Get one of each--2, 2.5, and 3 mm diameter--and you'll be set for life. There are many other coilmakers on the market--this is the one I use.

No, I ditched those years ago. They don't work well with the tanks anyway.

And thanks for the info on the cotton. I have already placed an order from FT for some Muji. Also, I'm going to check into one of those coil jigs. Also, thanks for all those replies. :)

I'd be interested in hearing about how you like the Ego One
Actually can't complain about it. It doesn't have near the power of the other two (Evic and Pico), but it can produce a lot of vapor with the .5 ohm atomizer. Since I'm more of an MLT (mouth to lung) inhaler, I have replaced the eGo One tank with the old fashioned 1.5 ohm carto and tank. Much more conducive to my style of vaping.

Honestly tho, I think you get more for your money with the Evic or Leaf Pico. They are more versatile in that you can adjust the wattage. They also have replaceable batteries. Once the eGo One Mega battery wears out, all you can do is toss the whole thing and buy another.

If you are just getting into vaping, the eGo One Mega is a good one to start with. No offense Katdarling :)

Oh oops. We're talking about the Ego One Mega device? My bad. I was referring to the tanks, which I dearly love. I don't have the Ego One tube mod, so can't even venture an opinion there. It DOES seem they'd be a good starting mod.
