Is any 1 better than another though? I also notice there is HR SR and LR, which do i pick for that model?

For 5V SR should be fine. For 6V HR should be fine. For 3.7V LR is awesome.

Only had experience with lr @3.7 and SR @6V (too hot for me) Have been wanting badly to try HR @6V

I have been buying my 901s at madvapes, they are fast and have pretty good prices. I've never vaped a 510, myself.

There are a lots of options in market, but I am using Joye 510 since last long. It is fantastic. Also it is available in attractive colors.

I would go with the most basic option. Hell I got an ego starters package, probably paid more than If i were to buy it piece by piece but it was all together and it it was just easier to get started. I wouldn't mess with LR attys, I get tons of vapor on cheap juice and a normal 510 atty... I dont think anyone wants/needs a LR atty when they start

Which is better to get the regular 510 or the ego or get a 510 and upgrade it to an ego. I'm not a serious vaper i just want something that i can vape during the day while at home and try new flavors. I really enjoy the experience of new flavors.

Well, the ego's main benefit is battery life, and a lot of people like them. If you're not going to depend on having it work in the field for 8-10 hours, you can probably be fine with the regular 510 batteries. Maybe look into a passthru as well.
