I currently have a v9 defender. When i bought this kit it came with 5 blank kr808 carts, so i assume the threading is kr808? i want to try dripping, but im not sure which atty i buy. I believe its the 901? can someone point me in the right direction please. Also what is the diference between a regular atty and a lr one? which is better?

yep 901 atty. LR atties have less resistance so more watts get to the coil. this means more heat. However, it also means you can pop the contact switch on the battery or reduce batter life by a lot.

A regular atomizer is the same as a standard atomizer. They are typically 2.3ohms. LR, or low resistance atomizers are typically between 1.5ohms and 2.0ohms, and designed for use with 3.7volt mods.

I just use standard attys with my PT's, Riva's and eGo's. I won't try a LR atty until I get a mod that can handle it, which means a true 3.7 or 5.0 volt. I think I might be moving up to a variable volt device very soon because I'm really liking 5.0V vaping!
I have an Little Sister VV that I love 901's on. I hated them at first when using on my Icon. Just didn't produce alot of vapor. Changed it over to a higher voltage, and wow, these are actually great. LR's are okay but I stay with standard...they last longer.
