Which Batteries To Use?

Currently using the sigelei 30W with Panasonic NCR18650B batteries. They we're fine in my Evic but I was limited to a max of 11W. I have a sigelei 100W coming soon too. I was thinking of picking up Sony VTC4s. I've heard those and the VTC5s are excellent, although I know the VTC5s are hard to come by. Are there other options I should be considering? I imagine this topic has been covered, so post a link to a good thread or offer you thoughts here.

Check out Baditude's blog (our resident battery/safety expert) for a list of batteries.

- choose the safest and right battery for your applications here. Includes a list of name brand, high-drain, safe-chemistry batteries with mAh & amp ratings in 18350, 18490/18500, and 18650 sizes.

Only buy batteries from a reputable supplier (not ebay or Amazon) as there are many counterfeit batteries being sold. Here are several reputable battery suppliers in the US.

* RTD Vapor

Cant go wrong with the vtc4 & 5s they are just good batteries. And you can really tell the difference between them and just about anything else with a side by side comparison. They are just a superior product. Aw imr comes close but doesnt last as long in my opinion and still isnt as strong on a fresh charge. But if your mod requires a button top then aw imr other than that its Sony all the way
