I would choose vtc4's over the vtc5's. They will handle more power if you are really turning it up. I do use the 25R's for a little more life at lower power levels.

For cotton, I like Cotton Bacon although you can use organic cotton balls.

Wire, for temp control use 28 or 30 awg Ni200. For non temp control, it really depends on what atty and what you want to do.

Well, there are a lot of options when it comes to coil building. You could do simple micro coils or get into fused claptons, or go even more complicated. A Snow Wolf isn't a weak mod, so you can run about anything you want on it. For a beginner, something like 26 gauge Kanthal is easy enough to work with and has enough resistance to not require an excessive number of wraps. Of course, the atomizer you use will influence your choice. A tiny RBA doesn't have the room to build on as a Velocity.

What kind of atomizer will you be running?

Then you can run whatever you want, for the most part. I had a decent 22 gauge build in my Velocity that chucked clouds and had great flavor. But it needed over 100 watts to really get going. I've got a twisted 28 gauge build in it now that isn't bad at all. It does what it needs to at 50 watts. If you use Lightning Vapes, their wire is cheap enough to buy a few sizes to give you some options.
