I snagged a deal on ebay. I was originally bidding on a bronze mini but got outbid in the end and decided to settle on a black mini that i had on my watch list. I say I got a deal because, according to the seller, it's never been used, has a blue LED, and comes with a black extension cap and black beauty ring, all for $200 bucks. I did the calculating, and that setup will run you about &
$220 from ProVape.
The order is on its way, but now I have a dilemma. I want a nice black tank to go along with the black provari. Since I don't know how to use rebuildables, this means I'm limited to cartos and black clearos (if there are any to be found.)

So my question is this, between the Lil' Mama Carto from Big Daddy Vapor and the black Halfling from IBTanked, which is better?

Also, if anyone knows of any black clearomizers, please chime in, I'd love to hear it, otherwise I'll be settling on getting another nautilus mini.

Well...if you DO want to get into rebuildables, this Russian is a perfect black finish match for a ProVari...

With an IBTanked halfling, you'll have black caps that are shiny, and have to pick a glass color - I like the PRISM colors - they're solid, and don't have that painted look. You could get it "smoke" or could get something different - I got "Prism Blue" (not a halfling).

You do know the halfling takes extra-short "halfling" cartos, right?

I had a Lil Mama - it's VERY flat black - the thing like absorbs light!
It was a little difficult to see the level of juice through the window, cuz well, it was still dark in there! But if you're going for that Stealth look, it's not a bad pick.

One other, in case you like the look - the PV1 is not a bad tank. It's thick glass, and doesn't hold a ton of liquid (but neither does a halfling or a Lil Mama!!). It's a very shiny black finish - not a Cerakote match, but it's black...

Thanks Train, I know I've asked this plenty of times before.

The Lil Mama definitely sounds like what I'm looking for then with the flat black finish, I'm definitely looking for more of the stealth look.

My next question would be, how the Lil' Mama, being a carto, stands up performance wise against advanced clearos like the Nautilus Mini or other newer tanks?

I think it's definitely pure preference - most people I think will say the new Nautilus is superior, but I'm an oddball.

I like a variety of toppers -
- I got all I want from a clearo with ProTanks, and still use them a little (I pull out a little wick and use 1.8 stock coils). For walking around the house I've usually got a Spinner/MiniProTank loaded up...
- I like cartos when they're wicking right. I have a big collection of top-notch tanks (Kir Fanis, Vaperfexion, Loki, SnP) - but I STILL don't have a hands-down favorite carto, as they just aren't 100% consistent. Mostly, lately the best have been Boge with a big hole. Right this minute, I'm REALLY pleased with one that was a Boge with a little hole, and I popped another hole in it - I never got into doing that, but if this works again, I might go that route.
- I've mostly set my Russians aside lately - when I want more punch than my cartotanks, I'm vaping my REO.

I don't recommend the Halfling. It's cute, but a PITA. It's difficult to refill, since the little carto is actually shorter than a tank tool and there's hardly any room to push it down and get juice in the tank without the whole carto coming out.

ETA: This is a standard size IBT and a Halfing (both 22mm)

Keep in mind that you can't see your juice.

Taste wise, personally I thank carto tanks offer better flavor, but clearos/glassos/whateveros can be more convenient on the go. Until I fell for the Rüz, I liked using a Protank 1 for out and about.

You lucky beast Mowgli, did you get a full size or mini?
So the guy who runs OCD, and the guy who runs Vaporforce, are both members of the ProVari Cult group on facebook. I'll be sending my black mini and aspire nautilus mini in to OCD to have him stealthify them both. I'd be the only person with a black nautilus mini, for a little while anyway lol.
