Just got my Volcano LT and 4ml tank and need to load up on some cartomizers.

Does mine use the SR or the XL SR?

I also noticed that the Volcano Cartomizers have a flange. "Cartomizer Flange- This flange stops the tube from sliding down too far on the cartomizer. " Will this be an issue with the Boges since I don't believe they have them?

I would suggest you use 3.0 ohm single coil cartomizers. This way you have the widest ability to sample your juice at VV. The flanged end on a cartomizer is not a necessity.
The length of your tank will determine which cartomizer you buy.

In this example, the one on the left (looking at the picture) would require an XL carto. The one on the right would require a regular carto.

I don't recommend dual coil cartos, because what you have when you do that is (2) 3.0 ohm cartos heating up. This really puts a drain on your battery. If you go with the larger tank, get the XL single coil cartos.

Either standard flanged cartos (single coil) will work or Boge XL 2.0 or 3.0 cartos. Sliding won't be an issue with the Boges, just be careful when putting them in the tank, screw the carto to something (like your LT) before inserting in the tank so you don't accidentially push it through and dump your tank content all over your hands (yep, done that before! LOL)

"standard" cartos are 35mm, XLs are 45mm. So far as I know Volcano is just branding the Smoktech plastic tanks, where 4mL and 7mL differ in terms of how wide or skinny they are (not length), so you'd need 35mm cartos.

As someone said you don't need the flanged cartos, those too are just re-branded Smoktechs (basically, that covers everything Volcano sells in terms of their LavaTanks & cartos with flanges and 2 pre-punched holes).

Be aware that you're going to have to punch the Boges yourself, but it's a much better vape then the tiny holes in the pre-punched Smoktech cartos.

NOOOOOOOOO! Sure Vapes is now sold out of the XL 3.0 :(

I'm going to be ordering the Boge 3.0 SCC. Is the standard punching 2 holes? I will be using ProThol for the time being.

Depends on the juice, very high VG thick e-juice, and I use 2 holes, punched 180 degrees away from one another (1 on each side of the bottom part of the carto, same as what the pre-punched Smoketech's look like, but with much bigger holes), with mixed juice or high PG content, I just do one hole. There are people who do three, 4 and a half, slots with dremel tools, <fill in whatever you can possibly think of here>, and everybody will swear it's the greatest methodology ever. And, it is, if it's working out for you.

Try 1, if it isn't wicking, add one more, if it gurgles and floods, then you know that 2 was too many
