After some DIY mixes, various orders, and reading about all the different companies, I am left with the never ending question of pure preference.

WHICH FLAVORING BRAND IS THE BEST ?

I have ordered some Lorann Oils, Flavor Apprentice, Wizard Labs... im curious about Capellas and Flavor West. I am reading some good things about Flavor West especially, plus with their various popular variations of flavors. But which is the best for making ejuice that provides the best flavor ??

I am asking some of the pros and some of the veteran DIY'ers..

Lets discuss this.

I really like Flavors West, also use TPA and just started using Capella's. I have also used the Italian flavors, DIYFS. You could search for the best flavor of a specific flavor and see what everyone recommends. That is what I do. bnrk
how strong are the flavor west flavors when it comes to vaping ? comparing prices and Flavor West prices are lower than Loranns Oils. 4x the amount for about the same price of an Ounce of Lorann flavors.

Each manufacturer's line has winners and losers. And with each vaper having different flav/strength/nic preferences, not counting the infinite mixing recipes, it is most difficult to build an universal list. Yes, I'd luv to see one also!

We have some prolific vapologist here. Try a couple of their recipes and see if their 'tastes' are similar to yours. Once you find a 'vape-mate', use their recipes and then customize to your satisfaction.

Good luck!

so far I have been using Loranns oils to flavor and get some great flavor out of some mixes that i have made. The fact that they have color associated with most of the flavors make the mixes have a good look in the bottle so i can easily tell what is what without having to look at the label i hand write too much. I havent seen many reviews of Flavor West and i was curious on how good their flavors are. When ordering i can get more flavoring for the money, but is Less More or More More ??

Flavor West has some great flavorings but they also have some not so great. Use the search and you can usualy find info on a particular flavor.

I've thought about starting a thread similar to this many times. My issue is that with only one exception, all of my diy attempts taste chemically... It may just be that I'm a little picky about flavors in general though, as all I really liked before I started diy was Boba's and a few virgin vapor flavors. I have diy flavors from tpa, fa, capp, and nature's flavors, I don't care for almost all of them. There is one or two nf flavors I really like that taste totally different and, much better to me, though now I'm a little leary about them, as it has recently come to light that all of.thier buttery and custardy flavors contain trace amounts of diacetyl. Which means that many of COV'S flavors do also. I did like thier butterscotch, though not as an all day vape like many folks.

Wish I knew how to diy boba's...

next question is regarding using WATER to make ejuice.
What are the benefits of using Water in the ejuice mix ?? I have never tried it, and i am trying to see if that will enhance the flavors or produce more vapor, or does it mute the flavors more ?

Water is used to thin out VG mixes.

You have asked the unanswerable question! I wish there was a simple answer but tastes are so subjective that everyone will have a different answer. I'll share my thoughts FWIW.
I stopped using Lorann's because I don't want to vape food coloring.
I find that most Capella's taste just like I think they should. I use between 10-20% flavor with 15% a good starting point.
Flavor Arts make some of my most used flavors but there are some bad ones among them. I find FA is more concentrated so I use between 5-10%. Start at 5% and go up.
The Flavor Apprentice has been hit and miss for me. Some are good, some not so good. Some are very concentrated, others are not. A lot of trial and error with these for me.
Flavor West is, for me, too weak. Very good flavors but I find I need 20% to start.
I've just begun using Vaping Zone's Super Concentrated Flavors. The Blackberry at 2.5% is the best thing I've found yet! Need more time to comment on the other flavors I have.
Someone else mentioned Totally Wicked's Decadent Vapors. I'm sure they are nice people to deal with in England but my experience with the US side of things has not gone well. I won't buy from them.
That's all I've got for you. If I was starting out DIY I would stick to simple, one flavor recipes for a while and simply pick flavors that you like. Also, don't overdo it with the flavoring. They get stronger as they steep so what tasted real good today may have you gagging next week!
Good luck!

This is really a unaswerable question.Everyone has there favorites .

My personal best to worst list is below .Even the worst has some great flavors. My list goes by what makes the best ejuice for me and what company has the most good flavors. I personally like rich creamy flavors.

1.Capellas (I have all but about 10 flavors and not one bad one yet.Rich flavorful and spot on to their names.)
2.FW (I personally find these to be very close to capellas in richness and spot on taste.A few weak ones but the great outweigh a few weak one.SOme are just godly good)
3.DIYFS(Not mentioned much but they have some really great ones
4.Lorann (They have a couple must haves but also some not so great)
5.TPA( A few really good must haves but more bad then good imo)
6 FA (Really concentrated but they just arnt very spot on for the most part and a lot have this EM candy taste. A few great ones)
7.Natures ( A couple great ones iv tried but have not tried very many
8.HC (extremelly concentrated .Also some flavors that nobody else makes
9.VZ Very concentrated.Alcohol based and doesnt mix well with the flavor companies above. If i were a tobacco fan it may be higher in the list. Makes a decent quick juice.

There are probably more flavor companies that fit in there but i havent used enough of them to know how many great flavors they have.
