Carries XL eGo cartos? (Edit: Found them, thanks lickwid)

I'm looking to try LR atties, namely the 306 and 510. Also would like to try the mega/XL stuff, I want to try everything really, until I find what I love. It's just that I don't quite know all the variations by name, nor which vendor carries them. I'm loving vaping. I quit smoking the day my kit arrived 4 days ago. The only drawbacks are having to take such loooong drags for decent TH, and refilling of course.

I'm making a shopping list, which also keeps my mind off analogs lol - so far I have:

LR 306 atty (removed)
LR 306 Cisco atty
LR 510 atty
510 XL carto
eGo XL atty cone/cylinder
eGo XL carto

All of these are available at HV except eGo XL cartos, who's got 'em? Please add anything to the list you feel is missing or should be removed, money is no object. Anything that hits hard and fast, or lasts long!

TL;DR dance with my banana

Hi dopeh!

As far as I can tell, the only "eGo XL cartomizer" out there is made by Joye.

Joye makes really great batteries...but lousy cartomizers, & only so-so atomizers. The body for their cartomizers is also plastic; Boge cartomizers have a metal body (which actually doesn't feel like metal when you vape with it, since it's wrapped with a label - but when you look inside you can see that yes, it's metal).

Joye's eGo XL cartomizer is also more difficult & inconvenient to properly fill than a Boge cartomizer is, if the videos I've seen are any indication.

With a Boge, you simply remove the rubbery white piece from the mouth-end & you can see inside quite clearly. You can see the filling as you fill it, so you know when it's ready.

With the Joye eGo cartomizers, this isn't the case: there are two caps that need removing, not one - both tiny (could get lost so easily) & both made out of thin brittle plastic that looks like it's begging to break (especially given how they seem to need more of a yank than usual to remove). And you can never actually see the filler inside. Not a good thing.

So as far as cartomizers go (which I definitely recommend over separate atomizers), I would recommend that you stick with the standard 510 cartomizers from Jack for now (the Boges).

As to separate atomizers...that's a whole other ball of wax. I hear a lot of people recommending the LR 306 Cisco atty. But bear in mind that LR atomizers consume juice twice as fast, & tend to die faster than standard atomizers. Also because they run hotter, you'll want to take shorter drags with them.

If you're going to use a separate atty too...you should drip. This means you'll want to get a drip tip too (preferably a clear see-through one, but a dark one will work too). Separate atty + drip tip (no cartridge, no filler).

Hope this helps!

P.S. lelly, don't say I didn't warn you about those awful CE2 R4's!

I have been using the ego xl carts for awhile now for when i go out and i will say there a bit more hassle to refill but i can get by a full day on 2 of them most the time with filling them with 1.8ml-2ml of liquid although i was told they can take 2.5ml.Check out youtube for vids on filling them and you can see its not really that difficult. Also wanted to say i have refilled them a bunch of times and they still work as good as new to my surprise. I also have been using a ego xl lr attys and am very happy with its performance my only complaint is it really drinks liquid but even with 11mg liquid i will take 3 or 4 vapes and i am good for a while as it seems to give a lot better throat hit and vapor than my reg 510 and ego xl attys. These are just my opinion from my experience and others might be different but it might be helpful to you or someone else.

Just wondering if you did any mods to the cart like PTB or blue foam? I have been wanting to try the XL carts with xl LR atty but I had so many problems with me regular carts with leaking, wicking and a burnt taste that I would think that the xl would be the all of the same problems times 2.
