Which Carto Are You Using?

I've just really started trying cartos on the Reo, because it sounds like a wonderful idea to me, to not have to top them off.

Which cartos do you use on your Reo?

I know there's a huge thread with carto discussion, but cartos have been changing a lot over time, and I thought maybe I could get some opinions that are more current.

So far I've been using the metal dual coil smoktech 1.6 ohms on it, with varying success, mostly because I have some laying around. I seem to be over squonking, or maybe the dual coils just aren't the best choice for this method. I've flooded it a lot, as well as gotten a fair bit of juice in the cup and juice "popping" up the tube into my mouth. I can seem to squonk it up less and keep it dry, but I notice the top area of the carto then seems kind pretty dry then.

Are there horizontal bottom coil cartos that might work better? I'm just afraid that I might burn this up fast, and get poor performance, because they're so large and the second coil is further up than some.

Maybe I'm just over thinking the whole thing, and I should just let it get dry on top, but I also wonder if maybe this just isn't the best carto for a bottom feeding.

juice is 50/50 blend, hasn't been thinned by me, and is on the sweet side.

Thanks in advance!

I personally just got addicted to the CCV 1.7 Resurrectors. Apparently some people think it can change certain flavors, but I make my own ridiculously strong menthol, and WOW do these things hit smooth and clean. I love them. I'm convinced these were made for the Reo, YMMV. But the Boge 2.0 seems to be the most popular cartos by far. They seem to offer the best all around performance for the money. Good luck finding your favorite!

I concur with both carto's suggested it this post.

I emailed CCV to see if they can adjust my order so I can try the resurrectors, and re-stock some Boge's.

I probably am squonking too hard, but I just seem to be getting a less-than-properly-wet flavor from the dual coils while bottom feeding them.

Any thoughts on horizontal coil cartos out there for the 510? To be honest, those could be (though the dual coils aren't, for obvious reasons).

I put an Iken LR 801 fusion with a stealth adapter on mine and have been using it regularly without issues.

I honestly never new 801's came in carto form, but I sure love his stealth series of 801/510 style atty's. 801's were always my favorite atty, so if they're anything like that, it sounds good to me.

Are you able to bottom feed them ok, though, especially through an adapter, or do you need to top them off from above as well?

I was unsure of them myself as far as feeding. I put a new one on and filled it by squonking. They feed just fine.

I don't have a problem with the long XL dual coils on a REO ..... I fill them first, then squonk to keep topped off.

Not a big fan of the DC's the draw is really stiff for my taste.

Boge 2Ω LR Cartos
Or Smoke Tech 1.7Ω (CCV Resurrector) are my two faves :)

I think I work them differently than most people. I blind squonk very little every 2-4 hits.
I like a tiny gurgle every hit, the flavor is much more intense that way IMO.

Cartos rock on a REO !!!

Of course attys do too :)

I just ordered both. Hoping I can find a happy niche for DH on his Mini Woolvil. 510 1.5 ohm is a little much but 2.+ not enough TH. He's using COV Tobacco 24 mg, VG and mixing straight VG, no nic about 1/3 VG to 2/3 Tobacco and then several drops of PGA.

I look forward to trying them, too. I have bunches of cartos from past year and the dual and triple coil I haven't even tried yet. I get too lazy to play with ecig stuff when I have the time mainly because the Reos make everything so easy.

Boge 2.0s for me. I also use the resurrectors with certain juices. I am one of the folks who notice a flavor difference with the resurrectors. It's makes my cinnamon juice better, my vanilla spice tobacco worse.

Oh I notice a big difference with some juices.
I haven't found any that taste better yet, some the same and most a little bit worse. And two terrible :(

Still enjoy them with my Boba's though.

Is bobas bounty really that good? I hear a metric .... ton of people talking about that juice! Anyone willing to trade a 3mil sample with me for a juice I have on hand (I have like 8 flavors on hand I can trade)

No it's horrible in my opinion. Tastes vary though. I am however in the minority on this. I can see why people like it but it's not for me. I hope you find some. Everyone needs to at least try a juice once. I already traded mine away sorry.
