Wondering what everyone is using in the way of cartomizers. Experiences with other carts and vendors. Guess I'm looking for the best carto and vendor. I'm currently using Boge LR from Springvapor. Carts have "changed" recently and I'm looking for something better. Springvapor has top notch customer service BTW. I heard iKenvape has great cartos....

I am using standard res boges from jvapes. I think the standard taste better than the low res. I slot mine with a dremmell for my tank as well, works great

I have a stupid question. When you get a brand new cartomizer, are you supposed to pull that plastic piece out of the drip tip end?

No you dont have to pull that out. The carto is designed to be used with that in there or taken out to use a driptip. Just dont wanna use both at the same time ;)

I'm still too scared to buy Boges so I switched to Ikenvape cartos. I really like the 510 Platinums and the 801 Fusions. I use the standard resistance ones. Lots of flavor, they crackle like my Boges did, and they last a while.

They really take a while to soak up juice so to speed the process up, I cover the battery end with one of the condoms, drip onto the filler, and shake it like a polaroid picture with the condom end facing out until it's full. Kind of a poor mans version of the Taryn (sp?) spin. Works great...and fast!

Currently using Ikenvape Platinums, mega sized (45mm), punched, in an IBTanked. Just yesterday I got my second batch in, along with some 801 Fusions that I have heard so much about. The Fusions need a 510-to-801 adaptor. (Ikenvape's adaptor was out-of-stock so I found some at Mad Vapes for $2.50 each.).

I really enjoy the flavor production of the Ikenvapes. They also seem to last at least another tankful longer than the Smokteks that I was using before. Pretty impressed with this brand so far. No duds yet, and no wicking or flooding issues. Ohm ratings have been consistant within 0.1 ohm under load when tested on the Provari's ohm meter.
____________

Prior to that I had been using Smoktek's from here: 510 Tank Cartomizers

I personally prefer the single coils over the dual coils. I sometimes got a burnt taste with the dual coils, and have stopped using them. I admit that I prefer a cooler vape. I've used the 2.0 ohm on 3.7v devices and 3.0 ohm on my Provari. The single laser-drilled hole is adequate for the majority of liquids. Any juices that have over 40% vg I used the 2 hole cartos.

These are a pretty good carto brand. Generally provide good flavor. In perhaps 30 or so cartos, I've had two complete duds that I couldn't get any airflow out of. I've had one carto flood on me despite good technique. Ohm ratings have been consistant within 0.2 ohm under load when tested with a Provari's ohm reader.
______________

I've used some standard size Boges in the couple of short tanks that I have. I haven't been impressed with them, but I got my small supply during Bogate. They likely will be put away for the Zombie Appocolypse and be replaced by some STD size Ikenvapes that I just got but haven't gotten around to trying yet.
