Which cartomizers for my tank

I just purchased a 3.5ml smoktech dctank tube and was looking to see what you guys would recomend for a cartomizer for it.I am using a Ego twist and here is the tank i purchased.cant wait to throw some Ikv ry4 or ikv tobacco in when it comes back in stock .

Hey Chris,
You would be totally fine with our standard sized cartos. 40mm is a standard size while 50mm is the mega XL which would be good for the 6ml version. I would recommend a stealth adjustable adapter along with a Fusion Punch because the Fusion has a built in flange to support the tank. We just came up with a fix last night for the Platinum model on ego sets. I'll attach a few photos. I'm also working on a standard size 510 fusion, though it's going to take some time yet.

Sounds good just to make sure these are the ones you were Referring to as at first i thought you meant the 510 Mega Fusion

Those will work. I am puffing on one right now in a 3.5ml tank. That was the cartomizer that started the Fusion craze and one of the best cartos made. Used to be the best but now theres the 510 and the megas it has to share the spotlight with.

What do you have on top between the tip and the tank? It looks very nice whatever it is.

Thanks 5card,I was just making sure as i had read somewhere that you needed xl cartos to fit in a Dc tank and was not sure .Most said you had to use the xl carts to fit the tank or you had to cut the tank down to fit a standard size cartomizer so it made me more than one type of confused. I just know i wanted a single coil cartomizer and i have used ikes cartomizers before and loved them so i thought i would come straight to the source

On the 6ml. Tank you do need the Megas but on the 3.5 they use the regular size. You going to love vaping with his cartos in a tank.

i am pretty excited to try them in a tank as the only tanks i have ever used was things like the vivi nova,stardust,etc.You guys would not happen to know when he would be getting a shipment back in of Tobacco would you im dying to order some again .

I just got the order in today and the Standard size fusions DO NOT fit the tank,they come up to short just enough to where they are not sitting in the top cap.So close but so farI was Really looking forward to rocking the 801 in the tank after all the good things you guys said

So i thought i would let everyone know so they do not make the same mistake i did if they use the same tank That i got you have to use the Longer cartomizers .So Hopefully i get a little Christmas money and can order some of the longer 801s

I don't know what kind of tank you got but they fit all my 3.5ml tanks. They don't fit the Fusion tank though. But it is a 6ml. tank and needs the 510 fusion or the Mega Fusion that I am using right now. I see. Thats like the MAP tank. I have one (a MAP) but didn't care for the think end caps. They take up so much space. I'm not putting your tank down just explaining why I quit using the MAP tank. I am currentl using M1A1, Fusion tank, My Fishbowl tank that I made and a few others. See if I can find a pic of some. Here is a few of them.
The two on the left are the M1A1 from notcigs.

Here is the MAP tank I used to use but don't any more. See how thick the ends are compared to the newer ones.

This is the next one I want.

Chris after reading Here is what another vendor has posted about those tanks. " Dual coil Tank - replace the cartomizers with 510 Dual Coil XL Cartomizers" The difference between the 3.5 ml and the 6ml. is mostly in the circumference.
You would need one of the Mega cartos Isaac carries, The Mega Fusion or the 510 Fusion for that tank.

Ya i myself did not realize how big the endcaps was until i got it in either and i am also not that big of a fan of them also.But for 4 bucks i thought i would try it being my first tank.That fishbowl tank is wicked how did you make it ?i have a few old syringes i was thinking of trying to make one but i got to find some grommets for the ends


I think after christmas i will pick up another better quality tank ,Really excited to see the new one Issac is working on,But i have also been looking at the mom and pop's and a few others in that price range .

I love the looks, and decent price, of the Texas tuff tanks as well, 5card! I sent them an email to figure out the difference between thePX4 and PX7 but haven't heard back yet.
I've got a couple of RBA's coming to play with, if they don't work out that will be my next purchase!

The Fish bowl was made from a bobber. One way you can make that tank work with shorter cartos is shorten the tube or better yet find a syringe the size of those end caps. I had to do that when I first started using tanks.

I "heard" it was made by these guys for them, Texas Tuff Tanks™ (Vapedudes if the link doesn't work) but I cannot verify that!
I like the fusion, as well as the Prive, as well as the Zatty, as well as IBtanked, as well as......................

I may have to try my hand at making one for fun.I really am enjoying the tank so far i have been using the Vivi nova the dct tank and one single coil tank and man i should have used these long ago .I always used cartomizers then i went to the stardust type which was good also but it is night and day between the stardust type .


One question though what are some tips you guys can give.Like do you clean the cartomizer after so many refills or just keep it in the tank until it goes out of flavor diminishes .When i was using just cartomizers i would clean them about every 3 days.

I just use mine until they are kaput. Most of the time they just get too hard to draw through. The last one I used for 40 days but usually I get around 10 to 14 days.

Oh, on the carto's, I use them till they taste burnt. Sometimes you can boil them and reuse, most times you can't!
