Which Cartos to buy??

Hi,

I'm fairly new to vaping... I think I'm still getting my feet wet with everything, and wanted some advice on which cartos is right for me.

I have a VV eGo setup, and have been using the Boge LR soft cap cartos during the past few months and want to start looking around to see if there are better cartos around for me.

Any suggestions?

There are plenty of cartos out there to choose from. One would be the XL LR 1.7 ohm Smoketech cartos that are fairly popular now at days. Others that should be considered are the various cartos from IKV. They made great cartos and you really can't go wrong. Only one that I would avoid would be the Gold V2's. The draw on them is HORRIBLE. Lastly, you can try the 2 ohm Ego Mega Carto from Liberty Flights. They do great on ego type batteries.

All of these cartos are great and should be a great beginning for anyone trying to test out new cartos.

I've been using Boge LR cartos for a little while now, and while they work great out of the box (usually) they just don't last long before the flavor starts to become overly burnt/spicy tasting with a harsh TH (I can usually get a day, maybe two before they start to suck). Cartos can last a little while longer on thin clear juice, but going past that they suffer big time and don't last long before the flavor of your juice is ruined due to all the junk being built up on the inside that cannot be cleaned out.

And tanks? Nope! I thought a carto-tank was the right thing for me, but you will end up hating whatever juice you use in a tank cause for whatever reason it funks up the cartos big time as the spicy/burnt taste and harsh TH is amplified by 10 fold after tanking for a day or two. You will get more life out of them by filling normally than by using a tank.

The next step for a Boge carto user is a clearomizer/fluxomizer (Gotvapes has a great selection and has the most up-to-date clearomizers available GotVapes™ Cartomizers : GotVapes.com, E-cigarette Supplies - Atomizers Cartomizers Mods Juice and more).

You can see your juice level so no more guessing when you need to refill or worrying about burning the filler (the wicks in clearomizers don't burn), clearomizers can hold a great deal more liquid than cartos, anywhere between 1ml to 5ml (or more if you do your own tank clearomizer), you can use every last drop of juice in a clearomizer (since there is no filler to burn if it gets too dry), and you can thoroughly clean them out and re-use them for a long time with relative ease (unlike cartos, which are pretty much one-time/one-liquid use deals and even with strenuous cleaning attempts, still never taste right).

Sure a clearomizer might require more fiddling than a carto, but in the end not having to worry about your juice taste being biased to the filler, potential burning of the filler, or burnt gunk build up after a day or two of use, is a much better solution. Using more than one flavor in a carto is generally a BAD idea, even if the flavors are similar. Clearomizers can be completely cleaned (syringe plunge + dry burning) and don't require fillers that can potentially hold old liquid and ruin the flavor of a second liquid choice. You can actually dry burn a liquid out of existence with a clearo.

Clearomizers basically take the best parts of dripping on attys + cartomizers, and combines it into one device that surpasses both those options.

Attys+carts -> eGo tanks -> Cartomizers -> Clearomizers.

Clearomizers, in my experience, require a LOT more fiddling. I use them at home, but at work/when I go out I rely on plain old filler cartos (Boge 3.0 ohm). So I don't need to carry around a syringe bottle, tweezers, etc. everywhere I go.

Also, I've been using Fluxomizers for about six months and mostly love them. But they are fickle. Some of them are great and last 100 refills. Others seem to die quickly and never taste right even after thorough dry burn and cleaning.

i was pretty dedicated to a couple different types of ce2 and ce3s. it was pretty appealing to me at first, but i found the vision xtreme cartos were pretty touchy and faulty. i used filler-less cartos exclusively for 4 months.
i found they were leaky, inconsistent in the vape they produced, and i had a few fall apart on me at the most inconvenient times. but the filler cartos really do not do not do well with viscous darker liquids. using light clolored thinner liquids, i've had filler cartos last a month before. in that case i just tosssed it cuz i ran out of the juice i was vaping, and i figured one month for a little over $1 was fair for a disposable part.
for darker liquids i find the 5ml smoketech dcc can take it. i've had them last a week.

The best for a ego for me are the vision stardust they work good alot better than any carto i have tryed plus they look great on a ego.

You wouldn't happen to have a link to these would you?

I use the Joye 510 cartos for the regular 510, but I use them on my ego. I don't like the larger ones for ego, they don't seem to last any longer and a lot more money. I've wanted to try another carto type but wasn't sure what to try. This one you mention sounds interesting. I don't necessarily feel I need a different carto, but I don't want to be stuck only having tried one and another out there might be much better.

Best in the land IMO.

EgO transparent Clear-o-mizer

AKA Stardust as dubbed by Gotvapes.

Fiddle free, though some batteries may restrict airflow.

I think this might have answered my last question. Wow, they look really interesting! How do you fill those? I never use syringes, I fill my joye cartos by dripping into the non threaded side. Can these be filled the same way? It looks like it might even be easier, by just filling the clear part? How long would one of these puppies last?
