I switched over from 808s and am totally digging ego's now. I have a mini currently and am going to buy another battery. I was thinking of getting one of the smoktech egos as they are regulated at 3.7v. On my mini ive been using the short smoktech cartos from gotvapes that are 2ohm and they give a great warm hit and good vapor. My only problem is you need to top them off every 20 to 30 minutes which is no good when im driving or out fishing. I also have a vision ce4 clearo and its awesome too and holds alot of liquid. My only drawback is the slightly cool hit. Some im looking for a clearo that will give me the best of both worlds!(if it exists) Or should i just get a twist or spinner so i can adjust to make it warm?

I made the same switch, 808 to ego style. I bought variable voltage battery, and it makes all the difference, since so many clearo's have their resistance off a little. So I would say buy a twist/spinner/egoV. Or, you could go with the clearo brands that sell the different resistance atomizer part, and build it to suit your vaping temp. Hope that helps!

Anything with the coil up top will give you a warmer vape than a bottom coil. You can also hold the button in for a second (like when you are bringing it to your mouth), then start taking a pull on it for a warm vape. I do this with my Vivi Nova and I like the warmth better than what my Chinese DID Clone can produce (though the ChID beats it in every other aspect).

Phoenix top coils are really warm, but they leak... The bottom coils are awesome, but the vape is much cooler. Turning up the voltage on the bottom coils to get warm vape also gives me a burning taste...

The Vivi Nova is what you are looking for. Nice warm vape (2.4ohm head aroud 4.0 - 4.2 volts), top coil that stays wet, and it doesn't leak. A cartomizer tank would probably work as well, but the Vivi Nova's are less hassle IMO.

So many options and not enough funds ha.

Thanks for the advice everyone. Never tried a top coil, may give that one a shot. Can't wait to see how the clearos work with variable voltage and to try out my first tank.

Check out the co-op section. Big savings to be had if you get in on them.

I agree about the Kangers, i just got an eGo last week and i ordered 2 Kanger T2's 2.4ml from gotvapes and the replacement coil heads @ 1.8 ohms from carolinavapes. Holy cow!! talk about freight train, great flavor/warm vape and tons of vapor. :vapor: Get yourself a few Kanger T2's and you wont be disappointed. Stay in the low side of the ohm range 1.8-2.2/2.4
