Well I'm sat at work and waiting at home for me is my new kit, yes I'm counting down the minutes.

I have waiting for me a Provari, Vivi Nova tank, iClear 30 and Vapeonly BCC. I use Halo Freedom juice 12 or 18mgl.

So for someone who has never used a clearo or VV device before, which one do you suggest I use first? Obviously I'm looking for whatever is the most idiot-proof and easiest to get a nice vape from straight away. Also any recommendations on which head (in terms of resistance).

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Maybe try the nova first. Make sure you give the liquid enough time to absorb before you begin. Because of the wicks you will also need to tilt it when vaping so that they stay saturated. I'd just twirl it around for a couple of minutes after filling to let the wicks soak up the juice. If you chain vape you'll want to do this when vaping or in between vapes as well. I prefer higher resistance so I mostly used the 2.4 & 2.8 heads. Remember to check your resistance once you fill it up & put it on your Provari. Whatever the resistance is you can safely add 2 to that number without risking burning. So if its 2.4 you can vape at 4.4 volts safely. I usually work my way up so if its 2.4 I'd start around 3.4 & work my way up until I found my sweet spot. Happy vaping!

Thanks so much for your advice. This is exactly what I was looking for. I have a voltage chart to help and I was going to start at about 3.0 and crank it up slowly from there. I will give the wick time to soak as I'll have the batteries on charge anyway. Quick questions about the Nova, does it have any problems with taste on first use? Also, do I have to dry-burn it (I don't actually know what that is yet)? And any quirks I should be aware of such as leaking? Thanks again for your help.

No problem! I used the voltage chart too until someone told me about the +2 trick! I was driving myself crazy trying to pull up that chart whenever I changed juices. Lol! I never had any problems with the novas leaking. I moved from ce4's to novas due to the leaking. I did find that they muted the flavor a little but that wasn't until I tried a carto by itself. Someone explained to me that it was due to the fact that the liquid has to travel up the wicks or something of that nature from what I was told. When you clean them you will have to dry burn the wicks. You should clean it after about every 3 tanks as gunk will start to stick to the wicks & coil. Phil Bursado has a quick video on cleaning & dry burning that helped me. I watch a lot of reviews & tutorials on his site, tasteyourjuice.com. The key is to make sure you don't burn your wicks. I don't know if you're totally new to vaping but its good that you purchased a couple of different delivery systems. You'll probably find...as most if us have...that finding your perfect vape will take some experimentation & trial & error to see what you like best.

And I forgot to tell you before but Welcome!!!:toast:

Thanks again :toast: I've been vaping for about 18 months but I've never been happy with the battery performance and deterioration with my kit so I took the plunge and got the Provari. I've also only used cartos which I get frustrated with the constant refilling so I thought I would try something new. So yeah three different clearos all with variable ohms, so I'm sure I'll find a combination that suits me. I really appreciate your help.

No problem! You're welcome! let us know how you like your new setup! I haven't been vaping as long as you but I feel like my Provari was the best purchase I've made so far! Have you tried cartos in a tank? I hated them alone because I was always flooding them because I was paranoid about drying them out and burning them. But I love them in tanks!

I might add some to my next order, I do prefer the idea of a clearomizer but at the end of the day, it's the vape that counts and not the kit.

If you liked the flavor of the carts alone I'd give it a try but I'm sure you know by now that we go through a lil bit of everything trying to find that ideal vaping setup! It's the fun & torture of vaping all mixed into one. Lol! I don't use anything but cartotanks now but I have been thinking about trying out a evod or protank. Ill probably give in eventually like I always do & purchase one. :p
