Hello guys and gals,

I've been using my Penelope RBA for many months now and while it has served me well, I may be switching to a clearomizer. This decision came about when I bought my father a Evod and I really loved how you could rebuild it very easily, the flavor-throat hit was actually pretty good, and I just love the simplicity of it overall.

Now I've been searching throughout the forums and there seems to be multiple choices, although I can't seem to decide on which to get. There is the Protank 2, Davide Glassomizer, Tatroe tank, Puritank, Evod, etc etc. I'm looking for something that will sit flush against my GGTS so that I can use the airflow control with the Clearomizer. This weeds out the Evod since you need the Ego adapter and that will create a gap. Essentially, I'm looking for a clearomizer with good construction and a flat bottom, no gaps or anything.

With that being said, I'm thinking of getting the Protank 2 due to the flat bottom (I think?) and possibly a Tatroe tank to replace the glass tank. What do you guys think?

There are two channels in the bottom of the pro tank II that allow air to get to the connection area of your PV. I'm not sure if this will interfere with your GGTS air flow controller.

This is correct, there are two channels in the PT 2 as well. I use an electric angel with an airflow controller and it works great. I don't know if it will translate to the GGTS considering I don't have one. It does look nice on the electric angel and the channels aren't that noticeable unless you stare at them heh.

Yea, it seems like they all have slots at the bottom. In that case, maybe I should get the the Tatroe Tank + bottom coil and cap. I'm going to wait for some more opinions before I throw some cash. What material is the Protank 2 made out of? Stainless steel?

Does anyone own the entire Tatroe Tank set? If so, how is it?

rounding third and heading home...
if you want to switch to a clearo and you have been using an RBA I would suggest an ovale cylo. of all of them(and I have them all- protank 1&2, puritank, iclear, evod, etc.,etc., etc.) it has the best flavor of any of them. uses an atomizer instead of wicks, which seem to mute flavor. it has been the one tank to use when I really want to enjoy my juice and not just chain vape for the nicotine. and NO airflow problems and it mounts flush to my flattop sigelei zmax so it should fit fine on a provari.

I already ordered a Protank 2 to try it out. There doesn't seem to be much reviews on the Ovale Cylo, and it's usually the same 2-3 users commenting on it. I've also used atomizers for a very long time before and it doesn't perform anywhere close to most RBA's out there. I'd rather wait for more reviews on the Ovale Cylo before taking it more seriously.

The Cylo doesn't seem to use real attys either -- it uses the Ego T "atomizers."
