my evod is leaking :(
like a lot.
I think maybe the plastic seal is missing?
/cry

Mine is a real pain to open too. it gets screwed really tight. either I can't get the bottom off or I cant get the bottom part off of my battery, have to make my husband loosen it >.>

Both of those issues are probably caused by the same thing. The coil on these seem to have a bad habit of unscrewing themselves from the base. Some of them come new with the coil loose too. Make sure it's screwed into the base good. If it's not, you can a) get leaking under the coil where it's not screwed down b) get leaking around the outside between the base and tank because there will be a gap there, and c) when the coil is loose the rim around the center post bumps the air tube inside the tank prematurely. When it bumps, the coil will begin to screw into the base while you're screwing the base onto the tank. The threading of the coil into the base and the threading of the base into the tank aren't the same pitch, hence the whole thing cinches up making it dificult to screw back off.

I love my eVods. The only issue(s) i've had with 8 of them I've used are all traced to the coil not being fully screwed into the head. I've just developed the habit of giving it a check twist each time i refill a tank.

I bought 4. All had loose heads out of the box. Easy fix... tighten 'em. 1 leaked, first fill, ruined a shirt. I upturned the tank and filled with water. The water leaked to just over half way, then held steady. There was a small hole or split halfway down the airtube. Scrapped the tank, kept the head as a spare. The other 3 pass my leak test... they hold water to the top of the air tube. Best vape I ever had in 4 months of trial and error vaping.... including rebuildables, clearos, cartos, dripping etc. Best taste, vapor and TH. Best battery life. Best for filling, cleaning (wash & dryburn), juice changes... everything that matters. A little airy/cool for you? A toothpick tip snapped off in 1 of the 3 airholes fixes that. No leaks when assembled right. No dry hits. Capacity is fine... I need a change after 2 mil anyhow.

Had my evod for a few days now. First day I filled it with HC RY4 11mg then I went to work and it was leak and gurgle city from there. I had it in my shirt pocket most of the time and it made a nice juicy spot on my shirt pocket....."at least it smelled good..it was like I was wearing RY4 cologne lol" anyways I took it home that night, rewicked it and added extra wicks on top of the coil to see if it helps seal the juice. It works perfect now no leaks, dry hits or gurgles. My work/travel setup right now is a 1300mah vision spinner, evod, with RY4 and Boba's Bounty. I have a 400mah spinner in the mail to test out...I'm looking for a lighter weight setup where my batteries don't weigh down my shirt....shoot I started with a povari mini in my shirt pocket and it made all my tee shirts look like V necks!:p

Meh, I got two of them a month ago. I would use them on a twist for my commute to work. They would work great for awhile, then nothing but dry hits and no vapor. I tried cleaning it and removing a wick, no change...would start out fine then come the dry hits. Never had a problem with flooding.

I got that dry hit this morning on the way to work. It was still dark outside and I didn't feel like pulling off the road to check the tank to see if it was empty or not. I wasn't getting burned tastes, so I wasn't sure what was going on, so I quit using it until I could verify what might be going on. When I finally pulled into the parking garage and checked the tank, I found that it was half full. It had been perhaps a half an hour since I'd used it, but the next pull on it started producing just fine. Not like new, but an OK vape.

I'd sure like to know what caused it. I use a 60PG/40VG mix of double RY4. I quit using the eGo-T because it would do the same thing. This was a newly-washed head I put in last night. The difference between the eGo-T and the EVOD is that cleaning would usually fix the EVOD whereas the -T would never fully come back to life.

not 1 single leaking problem.. just bought 5 more replacement heads and my evod/ vivi's are just collecting dust now :)

It might not be broke in yet. My first Evod head was kinda inconsistant for a few days and then worked great for about three weeks until I broke it. How that happened in a long silly story.

I just got mine in the mail from Sun-Vapers, ordered on Sunday, here on Tuesday! Filled it right up, put it on my MVP, been vaping it for a few minutes now and so far I love it, lots of vapor and lots of flavor. If the performance stays like this I won't put anything else on the MVP. I have a ProTank that should be here tomorrow for my Tesla, hoping it will be the same only bigger.

I have 6 Evod bodys in each of the different colors except pink and I'm on my next three 5pack of heads after going through three 5packs already...I can't say enough good things about them...they just work all the time and only really start to gurgle when they get low in juice but consistently produce amazing vapor and flavor... I never get any dry hits and I mean never!!! What I do when I start with a new head is take off the top post and take out one of the two wicks that covers the coil. I've had the T2s which used to give dry hits a lot,the T3s which all leaked and became very fiddley, just got the Iclear 30 about two weeks ago and absolutely hate it because it gurgles all the time and has such a really tight draw, got a vivi nova from a local smoke shop about the same time I got the Iclear 30 and is a little better but is very inconsistent I might get a really good favorfull hit and then I'll get a really bad dry hit so needless to say the vivi and the Iclear sit on my shelf collecting dust. Just got the Evods big brother the Protank on Monday and is producing just as good...it looks 10 times better then the Iclear and vivi and has a glass tank so I can put my citrus and cinnamon juices in it. I can finally recommend something to other people now that I have found my go to devices in the Evod and Protank and my newly found juice vendor Good Life Vapor. Sorry to hear some people are having some trouble with their Evods but I can't imagine they are as I have never had a problem so far and feel that these Evods along with the Protank are by far the best Clearomizors you can get.

I received a pair of EVODs today, and all I can say is WOW! Every thread here that praised it was spot-on. Massive FTV, even compared to a (well-behaving) T3. I did have to take out a few strands of wick (not a whole wick), but I think that's something every 100% VG vaper is prepared to do.

The only critique I have is that the head's threads are a bit too fine, but that's nitpicking.
